The Mystic Whaler is a one of a kind venue with broad appeal. The schooner allows you to truly enjoy your guests, in a beautiful, intimate setting. The Mystic Whaler has been chartered for weddings, rehearsal dinners, client appreciation events, family reunions, alumni events, school groups, anniversary parties and birthday celebrations. The schooner accommodates up to 55 guests for 3 to 6 hour cruises and up to 34 guests for overnight cruises lasting a minimum of 2 days.
All private charters will incur a 15% gratuity charge to be added to their contract price. Transit fees will apply for any charter not originating or ending at Mystic Whaler’s homeport. Transit fees are distance and time specific. Please contact the office. All charters require a deposit of 50% at time of booking. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. All charters will have a signed contract detailing all arrangements. This is to ensure that the client receives the services they are expecting and that the crew of the Mystic Whaler knows of any special arrangements. Children under the age of 5 are welcome on private cruises but must provide their own life jacket to be worn at all times.
All deposits are non-refundable. Should you need to cancel we must receive a written notice of cancellation 14 days before the date of the charter, any money paid (excluding the deposit) will be refunded within 30 days. Any cancellations less than 14 days from the charter date will not be subject to refund but may be rescheduled at the availability of the Mystic Whaler. A 10% rescheduling fee will apply.
We sail rain or shine. Mystic Whaler Cruises is committed to delivering a safe sailing experience. In the event that Mystic Whaler Cruises must cancel a charter due to extreme weather we can only offer rescheduling to another available date. We do not offer refunds for weather cancellations, delays, or interruptions.
